Athens part 2!

I love it when Mack and I are able to go on adventures! These are some more shots from Athens. The back roads are really fun to drive on because you're never sure what you're going to come across. The top photo is from a really small town called Crawford, which had so many cute shops. I can't wait to go on my adventures this summer.

Lets go to Cheer Camp!

This week my little sister, Jordyn, had cheer camp! All week she practiced for her big performance on Friday! She was so nervous, but didn't need to be, she learned how to do a cartwheel, and even I learned some new moves! Since she is only in the 5th grade, she has quite awhile to go until she can join the Cheerleading Squad, but we all know she has what it takes!! (I mean look at that cute face!)

They sold these uniforms at the end of the week so the girls would remember there wonderful time at cheer camp, and we had so much fun with the photo shoot!

Through my (fish) eye

A few years ago I received a fisheye lens as a gift, since then I've had so much fun experimenting with all sorts of subjects. My favorite, hands down, are cats. They are so curious, however none made the cut. Here are my favorite 4; in no particular order.

This is my boyfriend, Mack's, studio, he refers to the synths as his "friends". I think they help him make beautiful music. Throughout our relationship I have added my influence to his studio, in this case, it's the cute pooh bear in the chair.. there.

Speaking of Mack, that's him on the right! He is apart of an underground alliance, called The Fence Sitters. His partner in crime, Matt, is on the left.

This is the cemetery where we found the cemetery cats. This was our home away from home for, (roughly) 9 months. It seems like so much time has passed between then and now. Unfortunately now is not the time to expand on those months, but one day soon.

This picture doesn't have to much of a story. Just a lone tree worth a picture.
(So much for a picture is worth a thousand words)

Adopted!

Today was a good day, I'd finally been able to get all the kittens posted so we can get closer to getting all of them good homes. The first one to get a call (with no surprise) was Thumper. Although my favorite deserved a great home. Once we left we got a call about Chip, the family had a cat that was lazy and wanted to give it something to play with, Chip was perfect! So all and all, through the tears of losing two of my babies, today was a great day.

I gave them my email so hopefully I will be updated on their growth!

Kittens! Part 1

When my boyfriend, Mack and I first met one of the first places we went was to the Summerville Cemetery. It's the oldest cemetery in Augusta. While walking around we stumbled across a grey cat laying on one of the graves. I took a few pictures and moved on. On our anniversary we went back, again looking around. All of a sudden we saw kittens across the street, a gate separated us from them, but i still tried to get their attention. Eventually they came over. Well fast-forward a few months and were still going to the cemetery, I was attached to all of them, but one in particular, Canary. Fast-forward a bit longer Mack and I bought a house, Canary had had kittens and we were finally able to bring them home. So here they are.

P.S. - I'll post photos of the first "cemetery cats" when I find them.

Summer Time

My younger sister and I finally got to make use of our new front yard! I remember playing badminton when I was younger, and was really glad I got to bring back those memories. Also our front yard is covered in three-leaf clovers! My goal was to find a four-leaf, but it distracted me from hitting the birdie, so I had to stop.
It's so amazing being in this new neighborhood. The pool is a 2 minute walk, I am very close to the rest of my family and we were finally able to bring home Canary and Boots (along with their 9 kittens). I feel so at home already and am beyond ready to continue my life with Mack.  This summer is gonna be the best!

Razzle Dazzle Nazzle Pazzle . . . Wednesdays!

Most blogs feature daily, or certain tutorials on select days. OhSo is starting our own nail tutorial! We came up with the name jokingly, and it ended up sticking. So look forward to "Razzle Dazzle Nazzle Pazzle . . .Wednesdays"!

Tiger Nail tutorial :

What you'll need :
A main nail polish color ( We went with this Awesome Orange!)
Black nail polish ( We used a striper, but using a toothpick works well too)
Clear Top Coat

What to do:
1. Coat your nails with your main color. (let dry)
2. (optional) Second coat if needed.
3. Add stripes. (we just swerve)
4. (optional) We did whiskers and a nose, its adds a little more cuteness
5. Top coat!!

A very simple tutorial you can do in less than 30 minutes!
Stay tuned every week for more nail tutorials!

We Are More

One of my favorite bands, He is We, lead singer, Rachel Taylor, has recently started a new organization called "We Are More". This project is to bring our generation together, to spread the word that we are not alone. Currently the project is raising money to purchase a web domain name and in the future send people to spread the word about We Are More by touring with bands and going to festivals.

Adventurous Adventures on the road!

Ever since me and my boyfriend moved into our home it's been pretty difficult to go on the adventures we used to. Trips to Atlanta, Tennessee, Aiken and Columbia. However recently we were able to plan a day out of town. I must say, it was lovely. Our plans were mainly to see the Titanic Exhibit in Columbia, SC. But we also visited some of our usual spots. Frankies Fun Park, where my boyfriend kicks major butt at crane games!) as well as Fazoli's (where he got a picture of my mustache ring!). However we detoured a little from the path and found the cutest record shop, where I found this uber cute heart shaped vinyl! Needless to say, today was amazing.

To Columbia!

I always love when my boyfriend and I get to go out of town. Since we just moved into a new house it's always difficult to just pick up and leave like we used to.  As soon as we get home I'll post pictures!

Papercraft!

I am the kind of person that needs a bit of inspiration before trying to start a project. Yet when I get the inspiration, I very rarely have the equipment I need. When I finally get the equipment I've lost my desire to do anything, and yet again, need inspiration. It is a never ending battle with my brain. However, I've found this new hobby called "Papercraft." It's very simple, and I already have everything I need.

Tools:

Internet Access
Printer
110lb card stock
Scissors
Razor blade
Patience and Time (It takes an average of 1 hour for me to finish one)

Basically you find a template you like (I found plenty here --> http://www.cubeecraft.com/  Print the template. Cut where it is indicated and assemble your figure. I used to have a lot of hassle with arms, and precise cutting, but it all came in good time. In the past week or so I've been doing this.  I've assembled 15 adorable characters. I normally go for cute (like some from my favorite shows : IT Crowd, Adventure Time, Fosters Home, even IPhone Apps!). However, I've also made Boba Fett, Dexter and some other individual characters. It's a fun hobby because once I'm finished, I feel the reward!

Well it's nice to see you.

Hi, may I start off by saying I am OhSo Happy that you came on to our blog.  My name is Sara (only half of OhSo), I have a love for photography, kittens, and dinosaurs (don't worry you'll learn a lot more about me during the course of this blog).  We decided to start a blog to sell our items and also show into our daily lives, which we will do very much. Our etsy will be up shorty, but in the meantime, grab a cup of coffee or any other caffeine fix you desire and take a stroll though OhSo Lane. We hope you stay as long as possible but when you do leave, leave refreshed and inspired.
