Another adventure! Today Mack and I went thrifting and ended up getting the address for another thrift shop we'd been looking for (we didn't find it because it was an hour away.) We all know I'm a sucker for cats, and they had the cutest little kittens (I almost walked out with one) had Mack not reminded me we already had some. However once done we realized we were in the middle of nowhere, hopefully we'll find more adventures.

Valentines prep

So after a week of being stuck on knitting and patterns, I finally decided to head up to the studio to think of some Valentines day ideas. Luckily I was super inspired (and after a few hours, was basically done). First I listed everything (I could fit on one page) I loved about Mack. I then put them on little tags in clear ornaments with glitter (I will forever refer to them as "Glitter filled messages in a bottle") although I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with them, I knew I wanted to tell him all those little things I love about him. Okay, I'm done being mushy.

Love, Sara. <3

Sorry for my absence, but with a new year comes new hobbies (or upgrades of past hobbies.) Getting together with my best friend Chenice defiantly got my inspiration back. We had so much fun catching up and craft shopping and are so excited to start making our clothes! Keep posted for adventures!!

Have any of you used patterns, or have tips for beginners?

Thrifting is fun to do.

Mack finally got a day off in what seems like forever! We had such a lovely day driving to Aiken and exploring. We went to the SPCA Treasure Chest (My favorite thrift store which you may remember I've mentioned before.) Well this time I think we really hit the jackpot!! I found this amazing vintage child's record player (which came with a bunch of Disney 45's) Then to top it off Mack found a bunch of 12 inches. All in all a pretty successful day out!

This New Years was so great, instead of going downtown or watching the ball drop on TV, we took a short walk to our driveway to a phenomenal firework display put on by our amazing neighbors! We stood around a fire pit, drank Welch's sparkling cider, and rang in the new year with new people and the one I love most. I hope you all had a fun and safe New Year.

A Christmas at home.

Kids at play

My amazing aunt and cousins came down for the holidays and the best part is my little sister has a play date! I really wish I had the amount of energy they have, they had so much fun playing with their christmas gifts and playing tag.

Cat Christmas

What would Christmas be without adorable cats? I love buying the cats cute outfits, collars and festive attire. I love it even more when they actually cooperate for pictures, it really is a Christmas miracle.
 Monkey being .. well Monkey.
 Canary being ridiculously photogenic.
Cats being cats, they really do sleep all the time.

Coffee with friends

We did our Christmas gift swap with our great friends Summer and Veronica, and where else would we have it but Starbucks!

Peppermint mocha, can you say yum!!

New year

Oh how long it has been! With the holidays, relatives, leftovers and new hobbies I've neglected the blog! As nice of a leave as it was, my camera memory card is way to full to not show you the amazing things I have been up to! Please keep checking back, we have so much to catch up on.
