I've been keeping jars like this for years now (even before I met Mack) it's good to keep just to go through and look at the years, they go by so fast!! Recently I've used mason jars but I used to use old hat boxes. Any container will work, just keep putting things in. It's so great to look back and reminisce.

*we used to write fun things we did together on a scrap of paper*
It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry for my absence, I can't promise I'm back for good but the need to post just kept tugging at me. This year has been crazy, the family and I went to Disney back in May and the photos from the trip haven't seen the light of day, until today. Today, I think will be the kickstart I need to get back into photography and posting regularly.
This post seems to be the most difficult to write, I've been trying to wrap my head around the whole situation and I still feel like I'm dreaming. On January 8th I was informed that 2 members of my rave family were in a car accident. Helen, was in the back seat and died at the scene, while Tyler was rushed to MCG. Mack and I visited that night and we were there with at least 30 other people to support him, his family and each other. The entire time we were there we made small talk and waited for Tyler's mom to bring us news. Earlier today I was told that he had a CT scan and was brain dead, Tyler was pronounced dead at 8:21 p.m. This is a true loss to everyone who knew him, though I'd only had a few conversations with him, the ones I had were amazing, he was incredibly funny and energetic. He will be missed terribly.
I'd never met Helen, but from all the stories I've heard about her she was talented, amazing and fun to be around. Regardless of whether I knew her or not she was still family, the both are and I will miss them both.
The driver of the car, Aulstin, is also at MCG and is stable. Please keep him, his family, and the family of both Helen and Tyler in your prays.
