Pre-Spring Break Road Trip

As some of you may know I recently went on vacation with my sister. We visited family, went antiquing and just explored new cities. Our first destination was Birmingham, Alabama where we went to the Birmingham Zoo and Botanical gardens.

Brittney and I made sure to stop at every welcome center we passed through. Alabama was the 1st state!

We were so happy when we arrived at the Zoo! They had Red Pandas, lots of cats, and a ton of birds!

This is Leaf & Petal, an adorable plant/ gift shop. It was right before you walked into the Botanical gardens. I ended up getting quite a few things in here. I would live there if I could.

Keep checking back. I'll be posting frequently.

What you love.

I've taken many deep breaths over the past few days. The Wall is a very hard thing to conquer. I decided to take some time to just relax (something i don't think I've done since our Disney vacation). So after several walks around the neighborhood, and the destruction of several home decorating magazines, the Wall has just barely been knocked down.

The Wall.

Every so often I run into this Wall, I do not like the Wall. Sometimes it stays in my way for days, sometimes weeks (I think I'm coming up on weeks) It's always so upsetting because every moment of anything productive I do revolves around OhSo. If I could hit the Wall I would, but I've only found ways of breaking it down ever so slightly when it does appear. All I can do is do things that inspire me, which I'm going to post here in hopes it may help bring down my Wall (or yours).

A Beautiful Mess is my blog crush, her blog is everything I want to make OhSo. I've been writing down new ideas all morning (and all last night) and always find amazing inspiration in her posts. She writes about everything from fashion, DIY and inside her own life. She is hands down my hero.

School is out. Forever.

When new schools are built old ones are simply thrown away. So is the case with Sue Reynolds Elementary. Upon entering the grounds overrun with grass and graffiti. Archaic desks, tables and chairs fill the halls where children once learned and though the brand new school is less than a mile down the road, I find this piece of history way more interesting.

Success!

First Official sale on Etsy! I couldn't be happier, She bought the "Tinker Toes" Tinker Bell inspired earrings. Along with her purchase, she will be receiving a free gift.

Hint. A new OhSo product looks a lot like the last photo!

Inspiration: Kawaii

Since starting this blog I've tried to expand on things to create. Beginning with Photography, going to sewing, pillow design, and now jewelry-making. One of my best ways to get inspired is by looking at things I'd like to make. Although these are not jewelry, they are something I get plenty of inspiration off of. Kawaii is amazing to me, for multiple reasons, obviously I'm a girl who loves cute things! But also because eventually I would love to start creating Kawaii-like things. So enjoy the pictures I have posted!
