Cabin Sweet Cabin
Staying the mountains is amazing for so many different reasons, one of the best ones is not having to stay in a hotel because there are so many cabins available for rent. You would be surprised to find out that most cabins don't cost much more than a hotel (plus more amenities). We were so happy to find a cabin that came with a pool table and an arcade machine!

Birthday Road Trip
My new favorite place to go whenever we head up to Gatlinburg is the Deer Farm, they have so much more than just deer! The staff is super friendly and the animals are amazing, there are a few enclosures you can even get in (goats and deer). We could seriously spend the whole day in the goat pen alone! Admission is $12 for adults and feed costs about $3, you get a lot for the price. It is a bit out of the way located in Seiverville but it is definitely worth it.

Mountains.
Around this time of year, when the weather starts getting cool and the air is crisp, Mack takes a vacation to Tennessee. Last year I had the amazing opportunity of going with him, however this year we have planned a family trip and have to postpone this one until early 2013. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite photos from last year in hopes you'll remember we all need and deserve a special vacation.
